Harry J. Hamilton

Harry J. Hamilton, 70, of Fenelton died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 18, 1934, in Bradys Bend, he was the son of Harry and Mary McClaine Hamilton.

He was the former owner of Harry's Garage in Fenelton.

Mr. Hamilton was a member of the East Butler Fireman's Club and he enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Jean D. Smith Hamilton, whom he married Jan. 18, 1953; four daughters, Mary Ford of Prospect, Susan Heitzenrater of Fenelton, Mrs. Donald (Robin) Daugherty of East Butler and Mrs. Blace (Glenda) Bowser of Butler; two sons, Harry G. Hamilton of Fenelton and Robert W. Hamilton of Cabot; and two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Grounds and Mrs. Jean Campbell, both of Butler. Eleven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother.

HAMILTON - Friends of Harry J. Hamilton, who died Monday, March 6, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today atTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lynn, pastor of Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.
