Robert C. Emmett of Mars celebrated his 90th birthday recently with a reception at the Adams Township municipal building.

Emmett was born April 8, 1915, in Richland Township, Allegheny County. He married the late Helen Scott on October 19, 1942.

He has two children, Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Nalepa of Petrolia and Mary Emmett of Mars.

Emmett is a retired custodian from the Mars School District.

He belongs to the Mars United Presbyterian Church, the North Hills Lodge 716 of the F&AM, the Syria Temple, Butler Shrine Luncheon Club and the NACO Caravan 19. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II.
