Sara A. Stahl, 89, formerly of Valencia, died Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Home in Jefferson Township.

She was born May 29, 1915, in Russellton, the daughter of Howard and Jessie Geiser Dawson.

Mrs. Stahl retired from Mine Safety Appliances in Callery after 38 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Freshcorn of Butler; a granddaughter, Donna George of Butler; a great-grandson, Robert Dillaman of Blairsville; three great-great-grandchildren, Mariah, Chet and Haley; three brothers; and a sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barron E. Stahl.

STAHL - Friends of Sara A. Stahl, who died Sunday, April 3, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
