Stanley J. Rajchel
Stanley J. Rajchel, 78, of 227 Arlington Ave. died Wednesday at the Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
Born June 24, 1926, in Lyndora, he was the son of Vincenty and Helen Rajchel.
Mr. Rajchel worked at the Armco Steel Plant in Butler as a turn foreman in the melt shop for 43 years. He retired in January 1988.
He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Lyndora and the Highland Community Association. Mr. Rajchel enjoyed gardening.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Anges M. Musko Rajchel, whom he married on June 16, 1951; three sons, Ted A. Rajchel of West Sunbury, Michael P. Rajchel and his wife, Debra, of Harmony and Thomas J. Rajchel and his wife, Patricia, of Butler; a brother, Joseph Rajchel of Butler; a sister, Wanda Hollack of Jacksonville, Fla., and four grandchildren, Eric, Tyler, Stephanie and Chrystian Rajchel.
Mr. Rajchel was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joseph G. Rajchel; a brother, Frank S. Rajchel, and a sister, Kay Gogoj.
RAJCHEL - Friends of Stanley F. Rajchel who died Wednesday April 6, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at theGEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 303 Penn Ave., Lyndora. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Fidelis Church Building Fund, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler.
