Nickolas T. 'Nick' Zelepos

Nickolas T. "Nick" Zelepos, 73, of Butler died Thursday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Aug. 10, 1931, in Mealapon Ikaria, Greece, he was a son of Theofane and Chrysa Tsmbitis Zelepos.

He was a painter for the John E. Keffalas & Co.

Mr. Zelepos was a member of the Dormation of the Theotokas Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont.

He also was a member of the Sixty-Plus club at Tanglewood Senior Center.

Mr. Zelepos served in the Greek Army.

He is survived by his former wife, Artimas Morgain Zelepos; a daughter, Chrysa Hortert of Butler; a son-in-law, Brian Hortert of Butler; two grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin Hortert, both of Butler; and three sisters, Athena (Zelepos) Papathopoulos, Elizabeth (Zelepos) Poulos and Lambrini Niki (Zelepos) Geakoumis.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Constantine and Thomas Zelepos; three nieces, and six nephews.

ZELEPOS - Friends of Nickolas T. "Nick" Zelepos, who died Thursday, April 7, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Antiochian Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Gregory Long, church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Tanglewood Senior Center Sixty Plus, 10 Austin Ave., Butler, PA 16001.
