Lorraine M. Winters, 82, of Saxonburg died Tuesday.

Born Dec. 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Mich., she was the daughter of Orley and Flossie Wallace.

She spent most of her life in Haslett Mich. In 1942, she married the love of her life, Robert Winters, who died in 2001.

A lover of garage sales, card games and sparkly clothes, Mrs. Winters was a devoted Christian who supported international children's ministries.

Surviving are two daughters, SusZanne

Ellison and Shawn Cole; a son-in-law, Scott Cole; two sisters, Maxine Burns and Mae Buxton; six grandchildren, Jodi Winters, Soyia, Aaron and Ben Ellison, and Joshua and Caleb Cole; along with three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Butch" Winters, who died in 1999.
