Malcolm Strachan III

Malcolm Strachan III, 44, of Brownsdale Road died Monday of injuries received in an airplane accident in Warren County.

Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 1, 1960, he was the son of Malcolm Strachan II and the late Claire A. Anderson Strachan.

Mr. Strachan was the president/CEO of Industrial Troubleshooters Inc.

He was a Saab automobile enthusiast and a member of the American Operator and Pilots Association.

He was a Christian.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Olson Strachan, whom he married Aug. 3, 1996; a son, Benjamin Dreher and his wife, Jennifer, of Butler; a daughter, Christina Irwin and her husband, Jason, of Butler; and two grandchildren, Brenden Dreher and Hailey Irwin, both of Butler.

Also surviving are his father and stepmother, Malcolm Strachan II and his wife, Alma, of Buffalo, N.Y.; a brother, Llewelwyn J.A. Strachan and his wife, Linda, of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

STARCHAN - Friends of Malcolm Strachan, who died Monday, April 11, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME,124 E. North St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Phillip Williams officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
