Slippery Rock University's baseball team has received a berth in the Division II North Atlantic Regional.

The fourth-seeded Rock (31-13) will play at tournament host and top-seed West Virginia State (40-14) Thursday in Institute, W.Va. Game time has not been determined.

Other schools in the four-team, double-elimination regional are No. 2 seed West Chester and No. 3 seed Kutztown. Kutztown defeated West Chester in the finals of the PSAC Tournament.

The tournament runs through Saturday.

This is the 11th time in coach Jeff Messer's 20 years at the helm that SRU has played in the North Atlantic Regional.
