Betty Jane Antoline

Betty Jane Frye Antoline, 83, of Brighton Township, formerly of Baden, died Friday in Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township.

Born April 15, 1922, in Ambridge, her adopted parents were Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Stephenson of Rochester.

She was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rochester and was a former member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Baden. She was an avid bowler, bingo player and card player.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Antoline of Chippewa Township; two sons and daughters in-law, Gary L. and Marikay Fry of Center Township, and William C. and Betty Jane Frye of Bridgewater. Seven grandchildren also survive, Clifford Frye and his wife, Susan, of Houston, Texas; Gary Frye and his wife, Michelle, of Center Township; Lisa Ghein and her husband, Brooks, of Marble Head, Mass., Sherri Pennington and her husband, Michael, of South Heights; Mark Nanni of Ambridge; Jeffrey Frye and his fiancée, Stephanie Boehm, of Bridgewater; and William “Buzz” Frye and his fiancée, Sherry Washington, of Center Township. Three sisters-in-law, Ruth Rachjel of Butler, and Virginia and Helen Antoline, both of Monaca; and seven great-grandchildren survive as well.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford B. Fry in 1978; a daughter, Patricia Ann Smith in 1999; and a grandson, Joseph William Nanni in 1995.

ANTOLINE – Friends of Betty Jane Frye Antoline, who died Friday, May 20, 2005, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 349 Adams St., Rochester. A service will follow at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Gregory Clagg, her pastor, will officiate.Entombment will follow in Beaver Mausoleum.The family wishes memorial contributions to be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 393 Adams St., Rochester PA, 15074.
