Shirley Ann Callihan Heitlinger, 70, of 107 Willow Run Drive died Monday afternoon at her home.

Born in Chicora, Dec. 3, 1934, she was a daughter of Oscar F. and Mildred L. Williams Callihan.

A 1957 graduate of the Butler Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse and a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni.

Mrs. Heitlinger was a member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Center Township.

Surviving are her husband, Louis J. Heitlinger, whom she married June 4, 1966; in Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Anne K. Heitlinger, and her husband, Nicholas Franco, of Alexandria, Va., and Karen E. Heitlinger of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a son, John F. Heitlinger and his wife, Margaret, of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Franco.

He also is survived by five brothers, William V. Callihan and his wife, Patricia, of Lakeland, Fla., Frederick Callihan and his wife, Martha, and Thomas E. Callihan and his wife, Shirley, all of Chicora, James R. Callihan and his wife, Linda, of Centerville, Va., and Daniel L. Callihan and his wife, Lana, of Columbia, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mary "Sis") Wiles of Butler, Mrs. William (Patricia) Liberto of Chicora and Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Edwards of Trenton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
