Vera Skinder

Vera Skinder, 83, formerly of McDonald, Pa., and of Beacon Road, died at 9 p.m. Friday at the Lowrie House.

Born May 24, 1922, in McDonald, she was the daughter of Theodore and Lydia Pierrard Legros.

She was a Presbyterian and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Cheryl) Semenko and Mrs. Robert (Terri) Singer, both of Butler; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She married George E. Skinder, who died Sept. 30, 1998.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a half-sister.

SKINDER - Friends of Vera Skinder, who died Friday, July 22, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. John W.
