Vivian W. Bolam

Vivian W. Bolam, 85, of Saxonburg died Friday afternoon at Saxony Health Center.

Born Nov. 19, 1919, in Butler, she was the daughter of Everett F and Faye Bartley Westerman.

She was a crossing guard for Butler.

She was a former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, a past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 45, and a Boy Scouts of America club leader for many years. She was active in her church.

She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Bolam and his wife, Margaret, of Bridgeville; a grandson, Scott Bolam of Bridgeville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She married Howard C. Bolam, who died Jan. 10, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Blair and Bud Westerman.

<B>BOLAM</B> - Friends of Vivian W. Bolam, who died Friday, July 29, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St.Officers and members of Butler Chapter 45 Order of Eastern Star will meet at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home for a service.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev Oden R. Warman of Christ Community United Methodist Church officiating.Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to Boy Scouts of America, Moraine Trails Council, 830 Morton Ave. Ext., Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
