Homer C. Brice

Homer C. Brice, 82, of Kittanning died Sunday at Sugarcreek Rest.

Born Oct. 17, 1922, in East Franklin Township, he was the son of Leslie C. and Mary Smith Brice.

He retired from PPG in Ford City and Pullman Standard in Butler.

He loved gardening and carpentry.

He is survived by a son, Larry Brice of Kittanning; two daughters, Nancy Ruth of Kittanning and Vivian Julius of Fenelton; a stepson, Thomas Young of Tionesta; five sisters, Theora "Dolly" Rearic, Emma Jean Harkleroad and Dorothy Craft, all of Worthington, Esther McMillen of Applewold, and Frances Adams of Templeton; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Brice, who died November 1964; six brothers; a sister; and two grandchildren.

BRICE - Friends of Homer C. Brice, who died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Bear St., Worthington.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home by the Rev. David Caves, pastor of West Glade Run Presbyterian Church.Burial will be in West Glade Run Cemetery.
