Mary E. Mochel, 91, of Cabot died Friday at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born May 30, 1914, in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of George and Anna M. Zier Wiegand.

She was a nurse's aid for Concordia Lutheran Home. As a lifelong resident of Sarver, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Saxonburg Golden Agers, and the Sarver Golden Agers. She also enjoyed playing cards at all area card parties.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Domanski of Butler; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blinn Mochel in 1956, a son in 2004, and three brothers.

MOCHEL - Friends of Mary E. Mochel, who died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Emery Barnett officiating.Burial will follow in St. Mathew Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Sarver building fund.
