Earl Everetts

Earl Everetts, 77, of North Washington died Sunday evening at St. John Specialty Care, Mars, after an illness.

Born in Perry Township, Clarion County, May 17, 1928, he was the son of Arch and Elsie Wyant Everetts.

He served in the Army during World War II and had been a construction laborer for years.

Mr. Everetts was a Protestant.

He enjoyed playing cards and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Bowser Everetts, whom he married Aug. 14, 1958; four daughters, Carol Bogan and her husband, Dennis, of Butler, Debra Ealy Freiters and her husband, George, of Bruin, Donna Parsons of Pennsylvania and Cindy Scott and her companion, Charles Crissman, of Clintonville; two sons, Gary and Jeff Everetts, both of North Washington; his children from a previous marriage, Ms. Susan Miller of West Sunbury; and Joseph Everetts and his wife, Virginia, of Parker, Danny Everetts of Karns City and Earl Everetts Jr. and his wife, Patti, of Cowansville; 28 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Ida Suttle and her husband, Alvin, of Karns City, and two brothers, Lloyd Everetts of Karns City and Lawrence Everetts and his wife, Gail, of Chicora, also survive.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a son.

EVERETTS - Friends of Earl Everetts, who died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, Main Street, Eau Claire. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lloyd Tilton, pastor of the Karns City Church of God of Prophecy, officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Mount Varnum Cemetery, Washington Township.
