Man pleads guilty to taping couple
A Beaver County man pleaded guilty Wednesday in Butler County Court to secretly videotaping a couple having sex.
Brian Hinckley, 25, of Baden, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of videotaping sexual acts as well as lesser counts of prowling and invasion of privacy.
Hinckley was arrested Oct. 27 after a Cranberry Township homeowner chased him through several yards and he was then caught by township police.
Hinckley suffered a minor injury in the chase.
Police said they found him with a video recorder, binoculars, black face paint, a head-mounted flashlight, camouflage clothing and videotapes.
They said Hinckley chose the victims' home at random and videotaped the occupants in a sunroom.
In checking the videotape, police found two other victims, both juveniles, who were recorded without their knowledge.
Hinckley must undergo an assessment as a possible sexual predator before he is sentenced.
