Eleanor B. Logue

Eleanor B. Graham Logue, 88, of 624 S. Clearfield Road, Cabot, died Sunday morning at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Chicora on May 7, 1917, the daughter of Daniel V. and Gertrude Criley Graham.

Mrs. Logue was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, the Tanglewood Senior Center, the AARP, the Chicora Lodge of Women of the Moose; the auxiliary of the Saxonburg VFW Post; and the Ladies Auxiliary of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Department.

She was a homemaker and had formerly done domestic work at St. John's Rectory for 18 years. She had worked during World War II packaging powdered eggs at an East Butler plant for the defense effort.

She enjoyed spending time at the family hunting camp in the mountains, quilting and took many bus tours sponsored by the senior centers.

Mrs. Logue was preceded in death by her husband, Albertrus "Bert" Logue, who died on Aug 12, 1969, and whom she married March 2, 1934; a son, and three sisters,

She is survived by four sons, Vincent Logue of Henderson, Nev., Robert A. Logue of Fenelton, Cecil G. Logue of Cabot and Robert J. Logue of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Ethel Cypher of Fenelton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

LOGUE - Friends of Eleanor B. Logue, who died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church, 668 S. Clearfield Road, Coylesville. The Rev. Louis Pascazi will officiate.
