Mary R. Shulik
Mary R. Shulik, 80, of Bullcreek Road died Monday at Sunnyview Home.
Born May 13, 1925, in Butler, she was a daughter of Charles A. and Amanda Hickey Hinchberger.
She graduated from Butler High School in 1943 and was a homemaker and mother. She previously worked at the Spaide Shirt Factory and at the Bantam Car Co.
Mrs. Shulik was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two sons and their wives, John and Mary Shulik and Marty and Sue Shulik, all of Butler; two daughters and their husbands, Debby and Tom Schnur and Lori and Joe Spino, all of Butler; 11 grandchildren, Tony and Greg Shulik, Megan Champer, Evan and Annessa Schnur, Dom and Dante Spino and Katie, Johnny, Nick and Nathan Shulik; and three great-grandchildren, Marty, Joey and Richie Shulik.
She also is survived by five sisters, Mrs. John (Elsie) Monn, Mrs. Carl (Catherine) Slupe, Mrs. T.R. (Alene) Sankey, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Slupe and Mrs. Wendelin (Garnet) Kriley, all of Butler; two brothers, Charles Hinchberger of Butler and Richard Hinchberger of Sarver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Joseph A. Shulik, whom she married May 18, 1946, died May 11, 2004. She also was preceded in death by a son, Rick Shulik, who died in 1996; a sister, Jean E. Kingan; and two brothers, Clarence C. Morrison and Robert J. Hinchberger.
