Robert L. Holman

Robert L. Holman, 68, of Cabot died Saturday at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born Feb. 22, 1937, in Ligonier, he was the son of the late John E. and Christine Rhodes Holman.

He was the owner of R.L. Holman Consulting and vice president of Gas Well Workover, L.L.C. and was a current member of the Oil and Gas Technical Advisory Board to which he was appointed by former Gov. Robert Casey.

Mr. Holman was a member of the H.L. Shearer Sporting and Literary Society.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Flowers Holman, whom he married Dec. 2, 1972; two sons, Keith (Vickie) Holman of Carmi, Ill., and Scott Holman of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Melanie (Michael) Andorka of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Dorothy (Tom) Clark of Ligonier; and grandchildren, Jerry, Alex and Amanda. Nieces and nephews also survive.

A son, Robert L. Holman Jr., preceded him in death.

HOLMAN - A funeral service for Robert L. Holman, who died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating. Burial will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. There will be no pubic visitation.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.Arrangements are being handled by the FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.
