Thelma 'Dolly' Duffy

Thelma Maxine "Dolly" Duffy, 82, of 118-C Villa Drive in Butler Township died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.

Born in New Castle, Feb. 20, 1923, she was the daughter of William L. and Edice M. McCleary Bixler.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Surviving are a daughter and two sons, Marsha and her husband, Ronald Weleski, Jack D. Staeger and Timothy F. Duffy, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Shawn D., Brian L. and Scott W. Staeger, all of Texas, and Randy E. Scott, Lori L. Peiffer and Cassie R. Grossi, all of Butler; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Ronald Duffy, died July 20, 1995. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gary D. Stager; a son-in-law, Edward W. Scott Jr.; a brother, Ralph M. Bixler; and a sister, Carol E. Husing.

DUFFY - Friends of Thelma Maxine "Dolly" Duffy, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Huber, pastor of North Street Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.Memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
