Louise A. Nanni
Louise A. Nanni, 68, of Butler died Tuesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 24, 1937, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary DiBiccaro DiTullio.
She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church of Lyndora.
Mrs. Nanni enjoyed shopping, bingo, camping, puzzles, playing cards, slot machines and her parakeet, "Baby."
She worked at Rodgers Dairy Queen. She also had been a clerk at the G.C. Murphy store, was a school crossing guard at Penn and Washington streets from 1974 to 1998 and worked in the janitorial department at Nationwide Insurance.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary C. Nanni and her companion, George Shaffer, and Louann Nanni, both of Butler; two sons, August "Gus" Nanni and his companion, Melissa Williams, of Butler and Jeffrey Nanni of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren, Joshua Nanni and Timothy, Brianne and Jordan Houtz. A sister, Vivian Wittik of Lyndora; and two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Helen DiTullio and Joseph and Ginger DiTullio, both of Butler, also survive.
Her husband, Louis A. Nanni, died Nov. 17, 1976.
NANNI — Friends of Louise A. Nanni, who died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at theYOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lyndora, with the Rev. Douglas Lorance officiating.
