Hazel M. Rawlins

Hazel M. Rawlins, 85, formerly of Zelienople, died Wednesday at Edison Manor in New Castle.

Born May 18, 1920, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Alvie and Viola Goehring.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Zelienople.

Mrs. Rawlins had been an activity director at Passavant Retirement and Health Center, Zelienople, and continued to volunteer at Passavant after she retired.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Lorraine A. Woelfel and her husband, Daniel, of New Castle, John E. Rinaman of Zelienople and Ken L. Rinaman of Ellwood City; and two brothers, Merle and Robert Goehring, both of Evans City. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Rawlins who died Nov. 17, 2004; a daughter, Babette Rinaman, and a grandson, Gary Rinaman.

RAWLINS — Friends of Hazel M. Rawlins, who died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
