Derek S. Harmon
Derek S. Harmon, 19, of Salina, Kan., died Friday at the Salina Regional Health Center.
Born Nov. 30, 1985, in Biloxi, Miss., he was the son of James William Harmon Jr. of Berlin Heights, Ohio, and Tamra Marie Parkinson Harmon of Salina.
He was a student at Central High School, Salina.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a half-brother and a half-sister, Caleb and Cassie Harmon, both of Oak Grove, Ohio; his grandparents, James and Mary Lou Harmon of Prospect; his great-grandmother, Dorothy Beller of Russell, Kan.; three aunts, LaDawn Parkinson of Salina, LaNae Parkinson of Gorham, Kan., and Dawn Szymoniak of Prospect; and two uncles, William Parkinson of Salina and Scott Parkinson of Gorham.
His grandparents, Cordell and Shirley Parkinson, preceded him in death.
HARMON — Services for Derek S. Harmon, who died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, were held Oct. 31 at CARLSON–FORD-GEISENDORF FUNERAL HOME, Salina. The Rev. Tony Aurenheimer officiated.Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
