Thomas R. Washington, 62, of Evans City died Saturday at his home.

Born Sept. 16, 1943, he was the son of John Thomas and Iris Overby Washington.

He was a veteran of the Air Force.

Mr. Washington is survived by his wife, Antoineitte E. "Toni" Brown Washington; a daughter, Shawnell Smith; a brother, Donald J. Washington; three sisters, Gloria Carter, Irene McBride and LaVerne Jackson, and two grandchildren.

WASHINGTON — Friends of Thomas R. Washington, who died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the GAINES FUNERAL HOME, 220 Auburn St., East End, Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Petra Ministries, East Hills.The TUNIE FUNERAL HOME, Homestead, is handling arrangements.
