Ida H. Neeley Ballon

Ida H. Neeley Ballon, 79,

of 325 S. Home Ave. died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 19, 1926, in Rochester, Pa., she was a daughter of Harry and Pearl Dobson Neeley.

She retired from KMart after 21 years.

Mrs. Ballon was a member of the Covenant United Presbyterian Church and the AARP.

Surviving are her husband, Charles "Jake" Ballon Jr., whom she married Oct. 16, 1945; a son and his wife, Kenneth P. and Sallie Ballon of Sylvania, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. John (Patricia) Beatty of Jensen Beach, Fla., and Linda Sue Oesterling of Evans City; and a sister, Mrs. Willa Dee Taylor of Stewart, Fla.

She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, six sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

BALLON — Friends of Ida H. Neeley Ballon, who died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Swanson, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church Cupboard, 230 E.
