George A. Hilderbrand
George Alfred Hilderbrand, 91, of Bluff Street died Wednesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born June 7, 1914, in Donegal Township, he was a son of Charles and Agnes Landgraf Hilderbrand.
He was a self-employed oil producer for more than 50 years and retired from the maintenance department at Pullman Standard after 14 years.
Mr. Hilderbrand was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta M. Nolan Hilderbrand, whom he married in 1938; two daughters, Judith Margaret Montag of Butler and Julia Nolan Minor Cozad of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; five grandchildren, Brian, Bradley and Robert Montag and John and Don Minor; and five great-grandchildren, Autumn and Aron Montag, Grace and Hunter Minor and John Minor Jr.
He also is survived by two brothers, Charles and Adolph Hilderbrand, both of Chicora; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters.
