BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Sunday school classes and services will return to their normal times Sunday at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. Sunday school will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the service will follow at 10:45 a.m.

Vonda Mishler and Krystal McIndoe will provide music for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service.

There will be no evening service on Sunday.

Kids Club Caravan will not meet on Wednesday.

The Men's Trio will provide music for the 7 p.m. Wednesday service.

To date, $5,000 has been received towards the goal of $6,000 for the Church of the Nazarene World Evangelism Fund Offering. Donations can be sent to the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, Butler, PA 16001.

CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.

An 11 a.m. worship service has been scheduled for Christmas Day at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Sunday school classes will not meet this week.

Members of the congregation and their friends are invited to attend Butler's First Night Celebration on Dec. 31 with the youth group. Buttons may be purchased by contacting Cherie Loomis. The price is $10 per adult or $25 per family.

COMMUNITY ALLIANCE

A Christmas Day will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road. This will be the only Sunday service.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

There will be no Sunday school this Sunday at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave. The regular Sunday service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

There will be no Saturday evening service on Dec. 31.

All Wednesday evening activities are canceled this week.

Christmas cards are still being collected for shut-ins. Cards signed with the givers name should be placed in the box in the back of the sanctuary.

CROSSWAY CHURCH OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD

CrossWay Church of the Assemblies of God, 109 Davis Road, Middlesex Township, will host a family service at 10 a.m. Sunday. There will be no separate children's service.

COVENANT PRESBY

An informal service of Legends and Carols will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. Beverly Antis will be the guest organist.

EAST BUTLER PRESBY

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will host a family service of carols and the Christmas story at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

EMMANUEL LUTHERAN

A Christmas Day service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Church Street, Prospect.

A service with Holy Communion will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 1.

FAITH FELLOWSHIP

Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive, will host a Christmas morning service at 9:30 a.m. and a prayer service at 10:30 a.m.

There will be no evening service on Sunday or Wednesday.

FIRST BAPTIST

Orchestral and choral groups of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will perform at 6 and 8 p.m. today at the Clearview Mall.

The Christmas Day schedule will begin with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. followed by the morning service at 10:55 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening service.

FIRST U.M.

The Second Grace Shop at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will be closed on Friday.

A Christmas dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. For information, call the church office.

GLADE RUN U.P.

On Sunday, Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will hold a service at 10 a.m. only. There will be no Sunday school.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

There will be no Sunday school this weekend or New Year's Day at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St. Services will be held at 10 a.m. both days and will consist of mainly hymns.

A game night will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday for youth in grades 4 to 12. Participants should take a board game or card game and a snack to share.

GRACEWAY COMMUNITY

There will be no Christmas day service at GraceWay Community Church, Center Township Elementary School, Mercer Road, Center Township.

Beginning Jan. 1, Sunday services will be held at 10 a.m. A time of coffee and doughnuts will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The youth will meet for lunch on Dec. 29 at the Ichiban Steak House.

HILL U.P.

The Sacrament of Baptism will be performed at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The service will include lessons and carols.

There will be no Sunday school this Sunday.

Annual reports from session committees, deacons and Presbyterian Women for 2005 are due Jan. 8. Submissions should be sent by e-mail.

JEFFERSON CENTER PRESBY

Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, 390 Frazier Road, Saxonburg, will hold worship services at 10 a.m. Sunday and New Year's Day.

MT. CHESTNUT PRESBY

The 11 a.m. Sunday service at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422, will be the only service this Sunday.

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

A Christmas service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Main Street, Connoquenessing.

A joint service with Holy Communion will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 1 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prospect.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will host a quiet service of Holy Communion on Sunday. There will be no Sunday school.

For tax purposes, church contributions for 2005 are due by 9 a.m. Wednesday.

On Christmas Eve, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will hold Holy Communion at 3:30 p.m., singing at 10:30 p.m.; and Holy Communion at 11 p.m.
