Samuel S. Schoeffel

Samuel S. Schoeffel, 49, of Pine Township, Allegheny County, died Sunday.

Born March 6, 1956, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Purvis Schoeffel.

He was a registered nursed employed by the Joseph Trees Estate in Pine Township. He also owned Linda's Hearthside Home in Etna.

Mr. Schoeffel formerly coached football and wrestling for the Pine Richland Youth Football and Wrestling Association.

He was a member of the Evans City Sportsman Club, where he belonged to the trap team. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, golfing and his camp in Emlenton.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Rubright Schoeffel; three sons, Andy Schoeffel of Daytona Beach, Fla., and John and Sammy Schoeffel, both of Pine Township; three daughters, Hannah Schoeffel of Pine Township, Sarah Schoeffel of Honey Brook, Chester County and Amanda Schoeffel of Glenshaw; two brothers, Karl "Terry" and Dr. Thomas Schoeffel, both of Evans City; and a grandson, James Michael "Mikey" Schoeffel.

SCHOEFFEL — Friends of Samuel S. Schoeffel, who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main Street, Evans City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
