Anna Mary Drescher

Anna Mary Drescher, 79, of Zelienople died Wednesday at Passavant Retirement & Health Center, Zelienople.

Born Nov. 21, 1926, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Sten and Evelyn Britcher Kinman.

Mrs. Drescher attended St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafting, cooking and watching her grandchildren play sports.

She is survived by her husband, Louis C. Drescher, whom she married Aug. 17, 1946; two sons, Richard L. Drescher and his wife, Jean, of Texas and John G. Drescher and his wife, Joyce, of Chicora; and three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Catherine) Powell of Harmony, Mrs. George (Judith A.) Lipcsak of Ellwood City and Elizabeth Drescher of California.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Sten and Cynthia Drescher, Jennifer (Steven) Reidy, Donald (Susan) Cade, Tricia (Todd) Smith, Keith (Lynn) Drescher, Gillian, Matthew and Justin Lipcsak; and 11 great-grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Jason and Sean Reidy, Cassandra, Derrick, Ethan and Owen Smith, Braden Powell, Brian and Nathan Cade.

Two brothers, Johan and Jacob Kinman; and a sister, Lisa Harter Pugliese, preceded her in death.

DRESCHER — Friends of Anna Mary Drescher, who died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert Miller, officiating.
