Pearl M. Layton
Pearl M. Layton, 93, of Bowling. Green, Ohio, died Wednesday at Blakely Care Center in Bowling Green.
Born Sept. 7, 1912, in West Sunbury, she was a daughter of Joseph and Laura Weigle McCaslin.
She had been an accountant at Tom Henry Chevrolet in Bakerstown, Baierl Chevrolet in Wexford and Murray American Motors in Delray Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Layton was a member of the Presbyterian church. She also belonged to Eastern Star Northwood Herrington Chapter 356 and Mary Magdalene Rebekah Lodge 365, both in Pittsburgh.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and had played baseball as a young girl.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice Dunlap and Layne Layton, both of Bowling Green; a son, Bob of Bozeman, Mont.; four grandchildren, N. Leigh, Craig and Grant Dunlap and Justin VanHerwaarden and three great-grandchildren, Akiva and Noa Miller and Auralia Dunlap.
Her husband, Ralph S. Layton, whom she married Sept. 1, 1936, died Jan. 30, 1996. Seven brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
LAYTON — Friends of Pearl M. Layton, who died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday atDUNN FUNERAL HOME, 408 W. Wooster, Bowling Green. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Gaiser officiating.
