Lillian Marie McDonald, 72, of Butler died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

Born July 17, 1933, in Prospect, she was the daughter of Lee Edward and Rose Mary Mars Forsythe.

She was a former member of the Oak Hills Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and home decorating.

Mrs. McDonald is survived by two daughters, JoEllen Shever and Christine Tiedt, both of Butler; a son, Ray McDonald of Chicora; two grandchildren whom she raised, Holly McDonald and Shawn McDonald, both of Butler; two sisters, Joan Bollinger of Slippery Rock and Delores Hairhoger of Wampum; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Eldon McDonald, who died Aug. 19, 1984; two daughters and two brothers.

McDONALD — Friends of Lillian Marie McDonald, who died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, LTD., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Connie Dunn of VNA Hospice officiating.
