Mary Ann Orloski

Mary Ann Orloski, 67, of 260 Simon Drive died Saturday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, June 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Rose Conway Goettler.

She had worked at Troutman's department store on Main Street for more than 25 years until it closed in 1987. She then was a housekeeper at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and rectory until her illness two months ago.

Mrs. Orloski was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and the AARP. She was a former member of the Butler Catholic Daughters of America and had been in its Girls' Drum and Bugle Corps in her youth.

Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Orloski, whom she married Oct. 21, 1961, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church; a son, Robert W. and his wife, Ruthi, Orloski of Butler; two daughters, Rhonda Snyder of Sarver and Denise Casher and her husband, Darrin, of Butler; and a sister, Mrs. Richard (Joan) Lamay of West Lafayette, Ind.

She especially loved her six grandchildren, Chelsea, Courtney and Chad Snyder, Cheyenne Casher and Reece and Evan Orloski. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

ORLOSKI — Friends of Mary Ann Orloski, who died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Herman. The Rev. John McCloskey, O.F.M. Cap., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Oakland, Oakland Township.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Area V.N.A.
