James E. McGinnis, 63, of 418 Holyoke Road died at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Butler, March 12, 1942, he was the son of the late James R. and Mary Gavula McGinnis.

He retired as a truck driver for ServiStar.

Mr. McGinnis was a Catholic.

Surviving are his wife, Darla Clark McGinnis, whom he married Jan. 26, 1963; a son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Gay McGinnis of Butler; a daughter and son-in-law, Rayelene and Brian Ellenberger of Butler; and six grandchildren, Margaret, Clark, Sarah and Jack McGinnis and Brianna and Broc Ellenberger, all of Butler.

MCGINNIS — There was be no public visitation. A blessing service for James E. McGinnis, who died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, was held this morning at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
