BCCC presents comedy troupe
The group that spawned the likes of John Belushi, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner and Shelley Long will perform Jan. 27 at Butler County Community College.
The Second City will present some of the best sketches, songs, and improvisation from the troupe's 45-year history beginning at 8 p.m. at the Succop Theater.
Founded in Chicago in 1959, The Second City has become a premier training ground for the comedy world.
An evening with The Second City will give audience members a chance to see not only comedy stars in the making but also some absolutely hilarious satire and cutting-edge improvisation.
No topic or subject matter is off limits for The Second City. If your parents asked you not to speak about it at the dinner table, chances are it will be made fun of in an evening with The Second City.
Tickets for show are $15 in advance, $17 at the door, and $10 for students and are available by calling the box office at 724-284-8505 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to noon Fridays.
