Marybelle Sample
Marybelle Minehart Sample, 72, of Evans City died Thursday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.
Born May 12, 1933, in Ambridge, she was the daughter of Grace Dindinger Minehart and the late Daniel Minehart.
She was a Protestant.
Mrs. Sample retired from production at the Mine Safety Appliance Co. after 40 years.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel Sample and his wife, Pamela, of Evans City, Robert Sample and his wife, Lynne, of Harmony and Samuel Sample and his fiancée, Joy, of Evans City; and two granddaughters, Deanna Sample of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lindsay Sample of Charlotte, N.C. She also is survived by her mother of Callery; two sisters and their husbands, Beverly and John Hutchison of Cranberry Township and Marian and Gary Magill of Evans City; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Barbara Minehart of Jacksonville, N.C., and Kenneth and Gerri Minehart of Evans City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Sample, who died May 2, 1996; and by a brother, Carl Minehart.
SAMPLE — Friends of Marybelle Minehart Sample, who died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Rosalyn Kummer, pastor of St John's United Church of Christ in Evans City, officiating.
