Mary Agnes Hesky

Mary Agnes Hesky, 92, formerly of Butler, died Monday at Sugar Creek Rest near Worthington.

Born Oct. 12, 1913, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Joseph and Agnes Steiner Hesky.

She had worked in the central processing department at the Butler Memorial Hospital for 20 years and retired in October 1983. Prior to that, she was a Franciscan nun for more than 25 years at Divine Providence in Millvale.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, the Tanglewood Senior Center, the AARP and the Second Half Club of St. Paul Church.

Surviving are nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

HESKY — Friends of Mary Agnes Hesky, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian of burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Parish Cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peter will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church.Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, PA 16001.Please visit the funeral home Web site at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
