Anna Geisler Fleming
Anna M. Geisler Fleming, 96, of Brackenridge died Wednesday at Highlands Center, Brackenridge.
Born Nov. 11, 1909, in Spangler, Cambria County, she was the daughter of Julius and Josephine Klos Geisler.
She had been a seamstress in the Brackenridge area.
Mrs. Fleming was a member of the First Christian Church of Tarentum, where she was a former deaconess and Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by a son, Chester A. Fleming of Gilbert, Ariz.; two daughters, Thelma Barr and Sally Lang, both of Brackenridge; a sister, Helen (Ken) Anderson of Northern Cambria; and 11 grandchildren, Kathleen (Rocco) Sanflippo of Dearborn, Mich., David (Loretta) Barr of Scott Township, Pamela (Dan) White of New Kensington, Daniel (Kim) Barr and Dean (Tracy) Barr, both of Brackenridge, Deborah (David) Tomayko of Natrona Heights, Dale (Robin) Fleming of Lower Burrell, Mark Fleming of New Kensington, Ronald (Lisa) Lang of Brackenridge and Sharon (Dave) Kowalkowski and Cynthia (Wayne) Erb, both of New Kensington.
Also surviving are 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester R. Fleming, who died in 1976; a son, Dale E. Fleming; a grandson, Richard A. Lang; four brothers, Jack, Joseph, Frank and Stanley Geisler; and two sisters, Mary Mitacek and Jennie Gerrick.
FLEMING — Friends of Anna M. Geisler Fleming, who died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. William Beal, officiating.
