Cadette Troop 460 members Jamie Cashdollar and Liz Kruger, surrounded by Brownies and Junior Scouts from Troops 419 and 460 of Saxonburg, are counting the yogurt lids they collected for the Yoplait "Save Lids, Save Lives" campaign as part of their Silver Award, the second highest award in Girl Scouts. Between October and Dec. 10, they collected 350 lids. Yoplait donated $35 to the Susan Komen Research Foundation for their efforts.

Boy Scout Troop 310 of Slippery Rock recently held at Court of Honor and the following scouts were recognized for earning awards and badges:Jason Anna, Dan Bartozzi, Perry Christy, Dan Gallagher, Ben Hawley, Shane Kelly, Jesse Koller, Mike Magliocca, Anthony Miller, Nick Summerville, Ronald Wagner-Daily and Dyan Truman.On Jan. 14 and 15, 14 scouts from the troop participated in the Winter Camporee at Camp Bucoco. They wereJason Anna, Dan Bartozzi, Kyle Brendlinger, Perry Christy, Dan Gallagher, Ben Hawley, John Huth, Shane Kelly, Jesse Koller, Mike Magliocca, Anthony Miller, Phil Olexsak, Dylan Truman and Ronald Wagner-Daily.Tyler Truman attended as a Junior Leader. Adult leaders were Scoutmaster Greg Koller, Becky Koller, and Paul Miller.———

During a candlelight ceremony held at their January pack meeting, the following members of <b>Cub Scouts Pack 37</b> were presented with their Bobcat Badges:Charlie Parsons, Hunter Reep, and Teddy Specht.———

<b>Cub Scout Pack 310</b> recently took part in the Jan. 28 Pinewood Derby at the Slippery Rock Township Building.
