6:44 p.m. Thursday — A municipal bus driven by Edwin Pratts-Quiles, 59, of Butler skidded off snow-covered East Cunningham Street at Cedar Street, and struck the corner of a building at 119 E. Cunningham St.The bus, owned by the Butler Township-City Joint Municipal Transit Authority, and the building, owned by Christine Hagerter, both sustained minor damage.1:37 a.m. Thursday — Emily Sopel, 22, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having two pills of alprazolam — a prescribed tranquilizer — for which she had no prescription. Additionally, she was cited for driving with a suspended license and disregarding traffic lanes.5:57 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Andrew McKivigan, 23, of Butler Township struck a car parked on West Wayne Street and did not stop following the crash. Jason Grabenstein of Evans City owns the car.McKivigan was cited for a hit-and-run accident, driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance.
6:28 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Michael Lehner, 30, of Kittanning crashed off Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Lehner, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.
10 a.m. Wednesday — Ed Devine of Hubbard, Ohio, reported that someone broke into and stole an undisclosed amount of alcohol at his unoccupied camp on Oregon Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
