Margaret M. Welter-Emory

Margaret M. Welter-Emory, 98, of Fenelton died Thursday at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 22, 1907, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Peter and Margaret Lunces Fink.

She attended the St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.

She was a homemaker who loved football and reading.

Surviving her are three sons, William Welter of Butler, Norman Welter of Sebring, Fla., and Richard Welter of Butler; three daughters, Lois Zellefrow of Andover, Ohio, Marlene Nagle, formerly of Butler, and Carol Ann Shay of Fenelton; 36 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; 44 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Marie Boxtoce and Lavina Morrison, both of Pittsburgh, and a brother, Clarence Fink of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William P. Welter; her second husband, John Emory; a son; a stepdaughter; two brothers; three sisters; a grandson; and several great grandchildren.

<B>WELTER-EMORY</B> — Friends of Margaret M. Welter-Emory, who died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the F. DUANE SYNDER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Bear St., Worthington. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Johns Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, with the Rev. Lou Pascazi, church pastor, officiating. The burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery, Herman.
