Rose M. Pobitsky

Rose M. Pobitsky, 93, of 404 Third St. died at 10:25 a.m. Monday at Beverly Healthcare of Oil City.

Born in Greenville, Jan. 14, 1913, she was the daughter of Ferdinando "Fred" and Rose Catalano Spatilson.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Mrs. Pobitsky was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are a brother, Salvadore "Butch" Spatilson and his wife, Betty, of West Hickory; and two sisters, Josephine Jones and Sophie Arnold, both of Greenville. Also surviving is a special friend, Joyce Ford-Mustello of Butler; and Joyce's children,

Angela McDonald and Leeann Mustello-Manell and their five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pobitsky; a brother, Brune Spatilson; and two sisters, Marie Sinkovic and Rite Thomas.

<b>POBITSKY</B> — Friends of Rose M. Pobitsky, who died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. only on Wednesday at the LOUTZENHISER-JORDAN COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Visitation also will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home where funeral and committal services will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mark O'Hern, parochial vicar of St. Michael Church of Greenville officiating. Burial will be at St Michael Cemetery, Greenville.The noon Mass on March 5 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler will be in her memory.Condolences may be e-mailed to ljfh@pathway.net.
