Rose M. Pobitsky, 93, of 404 Third St. died at 10:25 a.m. Monday at Beverly Healthcare of Oil City.

Born in Greenville, Jan. 14, 1913, she was the daughter of Ferdinando "Fred" and Rose Catalano Spatilson.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Mrs. Pobitsky was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are a brother, Salvadore "Butch" Spatilson and his wife, Betty, of West Hickory; and two sisters, Josephine Jones and Sophie Arnold, both of Greenville. Also surviving is a special friend, Joyce Ford-Mustello of Butler; and Joyce's children,

Angela McDonald and Leeann Mustello-Manell and their five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pobitsky; a brother, Brune Spatilson; and two sisters, Marie Sinkovic and Rite Thomas.

<b>POBITSKY</B> — Friends of Rose M. Pobitsky, who died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. only on Wednesday at the LOUTZENHISER-JORDAN COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Visitation also will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home where funeral and committal services will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mark O'Hern, parochial vicar of St. Michael Church of Greenville officiating.
