Betty Leras Camp

Betty Leras Camp, 77, of Third Avenue died at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at her home.

Born Aug. 1, 1928, in Butler, she was the daughter of Nick and Catherine Adams Leras.

She worked in a workshop for the Butler Blind Association from 1956 to 1960 and attended the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind.

She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.

Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Joseph Wilma Nallan of

Vallejo

, Calif.; a brother, George Leras of Long Beach, Calif., four nieces, and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George F. Camp, who died on Feb. 2, 1991.

CAMP — Friends of Betty Leras Camp, who died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard P. Jenks of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.
