Anthony M. Carangio
Anthony Michael Carangio, 31, of Harmony died Thursday at Allegheny General Hospital from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Oct. 9, 1974, in Canandaigua, N.Y., he was the son of Dominick J. and Sandra M. VanderWerf Carangio.
He was a member of the Ellwood City Dart League and a T-Ball coach. He was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, martial arts and motorcycles.
He was a Catholic.
Surviving him are his parents of Zelienople; his wife, Lisa AnnMarie Kutrufis Carangio, whom he married Oct. 18, 2002, a stepson, Christopher Charles LeGrand, a son, Dominick Robert Carangio, a daughter, Brianna Irene Carangio, all at home; two brothers, Nicholas Carangio and his wife, Melissa, of Oakmont and Ramon Carangio and his wife, Jennifer, of Harmony; a step-grandmother, Jackie VanderWerf of New York; three aunts, Deborah McMillion, Chris Jeffredo and Vicki; three uncles, Lewis Carson, Richard VanderWerf and Donald VanderWerf; four nephews, Derek, Shawn, Alex and Jackson Carangio; a niece, Emery Carangio, and a great-aunt, Ruth Kenyon.
CARANGIO — Friends of Anthony Michael Carangio, who died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert M. Miller as the celebrant.
