Gladys M. Smith, 84, formerly of Brownsdale Manor and K&L Mobile Home Park, died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday at the Chicora Medical center.

Born in Isle, Nov. 5, 1921, she was the daughter of Ben and Hilda Grady Wenner.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Her first husband, Derwood L. Brown, died Sept. 15, 1963; and her second husband, Elmer L. "Mike" Smith, died Feb. 27, 1986.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Hilliard of Butler, Mrs. Jeanetta Himes of Slippery Rock and Mrs. Cecelia Wiles of New Castle; and a number of nieces and nephews.

SMITH — Friends of Gladys M. Smith, who died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic, pastor of the Community Alliance Church, officiating.
