8:06 p.m. Monday — An unidentified vehicle traveled off Franklin Street and slammed into a front porch at the home of Tracy Bowers, destroying a set of steps. The vehicle backed up and drove off after the crash.

1:54 p.m. Monday — Dwayne Zellhart, 37, of Butler was arrested after allegedly struggling with officers seeking him in connection with an earlier incident at a Point Plaza store.Suspected of causing a disturbance at the BiLo store, Zellhart was stopped by police at Routes 356 and 68. However, the defendant was uncooperative and became combative with officers.He is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

6:30 p.m. Tuesday — Robert William Jo Smith, no age given, of Freeport was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 356 and Harbison Road.

3:07 a.m. today — Daniel Saeler, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 at the municipal building in Oakland Township.1:30 a.m. Saturday — Cal Dittman, 20, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at West Jefferson and South Chestnut streets in Butler.7 p.m. Jan. 12 — John Bellis, 50, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence on Route 68 in Oakland Township.

Monday — A Mason jar filled with about $250 in coins was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. in a burglary at the Route 68 home of Mamie Brown in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County. Another $25 in currency also was taken.

Tuesday — Acement mixer was stolen Monday or Tuesday from a construction site on Route 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
