Gayle A. Lessner

Gayle A. Lessner, 68, of Butler died at 2 p.m. Sunday at her home after an illness.

Born Feb. 27, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Pearl C. Strobel Spohn.

Mrs. Lessner was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Ciochetto, Mrs. Mike (Mary) Pry and Mrs. Rob (Christina) McCormick, all of Butler; nine grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Spohn of Butler; a brother, Joseph Spohn of West Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Lessner, who died April 12, 1997, and two brothers.

<B>LESSNER</B> — Friends of Gayle A. Lessner, who died Sunday, May 21, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Richard Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler.
