JACKSON TWP — The American Diabetes Association's annual Tour de Cure cycling event will be held Sunday at Seneca Valley High School.
The event is open to riders of all cycling abilities, and will include an 8-mile Family Fun Ride and Scenic Tour, 20- and 30-mile fitness tests, a 50-mile training ride and a 100-mile Ultimate Challenge.
The event will conclude with a catered lunch and entertainment.
Participants ages 13 and older must raise $100 due on the day of the event.

CHICORA — Elliott Acres Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, 149 Center Drive, will host an open barn from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday.The event will include demonstrations and a cowboy church service at 6 p.m.Funds will be raised to build an indoor riding center to provide year-round therapeutic riding.
JACKSON TWP — An audition will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Seneca Valley High School practice field for a new cheerleading squad to accompany the Western Pennsylvania Warhawks semi-pro football team.The audition is open to women ages 18 and older. Cheerleading, gymnastics and dance experience is not required. Proof of age is required.Registration is $7.50 in advance or $10 on Tuesday. Registration forms are available at www.wpawarhawks.com.Participants should wear black shorts, a black sports bra and cheer or jazz shoes.
CONNOQUENESSING TWP — The Retired and Associate members of Brady Lodge 54 FOP will gather for a Stag Picnic at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler Farm Show Grounds.
WEXFORD — The North Pittsburgh Corvette Club will host a Corvette Cruise Sunday beginning at Baierl Chevrolet, Route 19.The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes awards, a Chinese auction, door prizes, raffles and entertainment.
