Emilie J. Cotten

Emilie J. Cotten, 71, of Bennitt Drive in Franklin Township died at 11:54 a.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center.

Born in Munich, Germany, May 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Joseph and Karolina Joehl Frey.

She was a homemaker and was self-employed in cleaning services.

Mrs. Cotten was an active member of the Community Alliance Church.

Her passion was gardening, and she also enjoyed canning, cooking and baking to share with her family and neighbors. She won many ribbons from fairs and farm shows for her canning and baking.

Surviving are two sons, Glenn Norton and Tim Cotten; two daughters, Theresa Norton Clever and Anna Cotten Connell; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also is survived by four sisters; a brother, and a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

<B>COTTEN </B>— Friends of Emilie J. Cotten, who died Sunday, May 21, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Community Alliance Church, with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic officiating.Burial will be at the Mount Chestnut Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
