Timothy Ritchey
Timothy Ritchey, 51, of Markleysburg, Pa., formerly of Butler, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday at the Uniontown Hospital.
Born Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of James and the late Lida Lorraine Rose Ritchey.
In 2002, Mr. Ritchey was presented with the Residential Award given by the Association for Retarded Citizens of Butler County. For many years, he also participated in the Special Olympics and won various awards.
Surviving are his father, James A. Ritchey of Frostproof, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Ritchey-Jen of Berkeley, Calif., Rebecca McMaster of Mars and Kim and Jill Ritchey, both of Frostproof, Fla.; a brother, Jim Ritchey of Damascus, Md.; three nephews; and four nieces.
