Brett Rinker of Slippery Rock carded a 39 for nine holes Wednesday to win in his age division at the Southwest Junior Golf Tour event at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course near Cleveland, Ohio.

He also shot an 84 Monday at Ebensburg Country Club to win the Northeastern Junior Golf Tour event there.

Rinker's sister, Jenna, carded an 88 Wednesday to finish second in her age division at the SJGTevent in Cleveland.

The Butler Township 9-and-10 year-old all-star baseball team advanced in the District 25 tournament with a 14-3 victory over Oil City Thursday.Adam Schaffner pitched the entire game, giving up just two hits and striking out nine to go with a single and double at the plate.Ryan Denny singled twice and doubled, Mark Gross had three base hits and Cory Wheeler singled and tripled.Butler Township will face the winner of Thursday's game between Clarion and Southern Clarion at a date, site and time to be announced.
